The Google nest routers work great! They're not WiFi 6 but they still are plenty fast if you have a less than gigabit connection. I love the built in family feature as well and there's no extra cost. Everything sets up from the Google home app. You can easily add wifi points. If you need another point with an Ethernet port then get a second router.

This is so far the best router from Google and I am currently using it. I am really recommend it to other users because of these hands downs of this Google Nest. It is very user's friendly, just download the Google app then scan the phone's camera as you follow the Google's step by step commends. If purchase as used, reset it before register to Google. Super easy to set up and use it as the network router or using it as a sub net mass router like me. This Google nest WiFi router is not increasing any speed but great coverage. Just use one if your house is small like the Victorian house and you may add another one if the house goes over 1,7000 square feet. You may add up to 3 or 4 Google Nest to create a mass wifi networks in your very large house. It provides two frequencies 2.4 and 5.8 in all synchronize unlike the regular routers one after one that make network data latency for the network users. There is a drawback of this router is it is not compatible(backward)to the previous model the Google wifi router. Google WiFi router is compatible to this router but it's not vise versa. And the previous model covers 1,3000 square feet and user can add this router to it's mass network without any problem. I really recommend any of these Google network mass to the home network users. Their network coverage are really, really great even your networking shutdown for any reasons and when it turn on. These Google wifi routers will automatically connect themselves with the best coverage without problem. Read full review

Great product. Big upgrade that, along with a Google Point, has increased speed and connectivity across the whole house.

For the money, Google's Nest Wifi is about as good as you can get for the average consumer. Ease of setup, ease of use - set it and forget it... the whole 9 yards. What's great is that it's expandable for low cost and the newest version (Nest vs the old "Google Wifi") has better range and support for higher bandwidth (AC2200). Unless you're running at commercial gig+ speeds, a couple of these things strategically placed should solve any wifi issues you have. Note: The Nest Wifi "Points" do not have ethernet jacks on them, they are purely mesh access points. That said, if you're looking to add mesh points with ethernet jacks, pick up a couple of older Google Wifi pucks (which are compatible with this system). Adding those as points to the Nest Router network is a great and cheap solution for any devices that have terrible wifi chips/connections (older smart TV's) and need to be wired to a point.Read full review
