Too Little for such a Big Talent
There are only 3 episodes (plus extras--I'd rather have more shows). While the shows are fun, they only left me wanting more. The Carol Burnett Show was one of the best variety shows on television with a million laughs. A real feel-good show. I'd rather watch reruns of the Carol Burnett Show than 99% of the new crap that passes for entertainment on TV today. It's worth seeing, but only whets the appetite for more Carol and really funny family comedy. Her shows were unexpected skits while today it's either Showtime comedy specials (usually too raw and not often funny) or sitcoms that mine the same material I Love Lucy mined decades ago. Good fun!!!
Typically, mostly hysterical, non-stop slap-stick and merry-making from Burnett and company. The entire cast is insane!!! Should be locked away in an asylum somewhere, but, then what would we do for entertainment? I have bought many Burnett shows and am always delighted with what I get. Wanna laugh? Funny show with censored parts
DVD factory should disclose that certain words or images censored.. The Don Adams episode has the word "Polish" bleeped out??? Had to research to find what word bothered Time Warner so much..
