I just got a new puppy and needed something that can spot clean without having to plug something in. Bissell Pet Stain Carpet Cleaner does a great job cleaning small carpet spots like pet urine and coffee stains. The suction is decent compared to a regular vacuum. It's not as powerful, but the convenience factor outweighs the suction. It's light enough to use quickly, and emptying and refilling is a breeze :-) ONE BIG downside, not enough to downgrade a star, is you can't keep a reservoir of solution in the vacuum because it will leak out :-( I don't understand why, but you mustn't keep it on its side or lying down. You have to balance it standing vertically. I now store it without the solution pushed in. Overall, it's quick, convenient, and does a remarkable job cleaning and drying small areas in the home.
