Not recommended if encryption is needed.
Encryption software must be installed on the pc accessing the drive rather than running from the drive itself like Western Digital Passport drives. I will not be buying another Canvio drive because of this. Otherwise it appears to be a quality product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
