It has excellent clarity both listening and speaking. For the fit in my ear, I found that taking the black rubber ring off of the earphone made it more comfortable. The only down side, it doesn't have a volume control on the headset. Volume adjustments require digging the phone out and changing the volume. The audio quality could be a little better and lack of volume control makes device simpler to use, but seems to give more base than treble range the 2047 does not seem to be much of an improvement.
