Works if there is no other choice
It does the job but the metal where the derailleur screws into is thin and if removed multiple times (derailure cleaning) or tighten I bit too much, the threads stripped on mine because metal is on the thin side. About half of the thickness of a standard hanger. Solution- weld a thin 10mm x1.0 nut on back or double metal up and extended threads
