This drive I bought due to bad luck with Hitachi, WD, Maxtor and Seagate on EBAY rather NewEgg .This Drive what i Foundis Hitachi Y series plugged in HP Win 10 .Desktop copied 1TB Data in 4 hours 3gb limit on MOBO sata speed to 1gb to 100gb . copied directly booting into PureOs from Usb 2.0 Drive in USB 3.0 took 3. full hours. Pro Now its Plugged in Easyn NVR handling 2TB. only noise i heard was very unnoticed while parking heads and shutdown easy but restarting device boot so nice surprize NVR Make no Sound anyone can hear. P its good drive and worth to trust its Performence and ability. Buy as its Hitachi It takes 5 Stars. Cons Died in past with no reason after15th month . Changed PCB but always failure. No Luck.

Received 6 of these hard drives and installed them into a development station I built. Within 2 months of extremely limited use, one of these drives failed already. I have already begun replacing the remaining 5 of them with WD drives to avoid further problems.
