Dr. Scott Grant had 2 beautiful children. His wife died right after giving birth to the youngest. Dr. Grant moved to Thunder Point to open his own clinic. He had to get away from his mother and mother in law who were smothering him and his children. He worked parttime in ER in a nearby town to supplement his income. When he opened he could not afford help so much book work and scheduling was done by him. He also had walk ins. He had an open house and met a young woman who had work previously as a receptionist and medical bookkeeper. She needed a job and he needed help. It would be a while but he also intended to hire a PA. Later on he did. She was highly trained and more than he could ever hope for. Both as a professional and personally. Scott Grant had been looking for sometime for a wife and mother for his children. His children were very polite and great to care for. Peyton, his PA, was a great asset to his clinic. Also Devon, his receptionist and sometime babysitter was also. Highly recommended book.Read full review

It is a book that is in the middle of a series and my library didn’t have this one. That’s why I bought it but it isn’t the kind of story that I can’t put down. It’s not bad though. It doesn’t move along quite well.
