The A-T AT4010-50E Perpetual Chrono watches from Citizen are stylish accessories for men who love international intrigue. The watch is featured in a titanium protective case that guards the quartz movement from damage. The titanium surface has a black ion plate and looks eye-catching and modern.Citizen has mounted the crown and control buttons in their usual position on the right side of the casing. The bracelet is composed of burnished titanium, measures between 6.5 inches and 7 inches, and is appropriate for most men's sizes. The clasp can be released by triggering the concealed double-push button. The entire package is remarkably stylish and eye-catching, and the attractive appearance is matched by the strength of its construction. The watch is noticeably light in weight, especially since titanium is both stronger and lighter than other metals.The transparent crystal faces on these Citizen watches are almost impossible to scratch or break. They are made from a single piece of synthetic sapphire that has been treated to be non-reflective and easy to clean. This is called the atomic timekeeping system and it works all across Europe, North America, and Japan.These Citizen watches include an integral 1-second chronograph that can measure as long as 60 minutes. The outer ring of the dial has tachymeter markings for convenient estimation of distance and average speed. The luminous white chronograph hour, minute, and second hands are all high contrast and easy to read. Almost the perfect watch and at a bargain price
Key features are: 1. Solar powered Eco drive - never replace a battery. 2. Super hard DLC (diamond like carbon) coated titanium makes it 40% lighter than stainless steel yet 5 times harder and more scratch resistant. 3. Sapphire glass is highly scratch resistant. 4. Radio controlled for atomic accuracy. 5. Perpetual date. 6. Water resistant to 200m. Only minor downsides are: 1. Chronograph only accurate to 1 sec. 2. Radio controlled rather than GPS time. 3. Just 5 supplied time zones. 4. Big date would be great - though Citizen don't seem to do this. Awesome Entry Level Watch
Awesome entry level watch. The titanium makes it super lightweight. The Small blue bands around the two outside buttons along with the time zone needle really pop on the black and chrome background. The watch is easy to read and there isn't too much going on which I believe makes a watch an eyesore. It also doesn't look to fancy which I like, because most fancy looking watches are pretty cheap. The watch doesn't scratch easily and if it does it can be polished out. Its not too big either which is great for me because I don't have the most robust wrists in the world. The watch glows bright at night. There are a lot of nice features such as the watch self corrects itself at 2:00am. You can also switch time zones quickly and easily which is sweet for traveling places. I wear this watch to my professional office job everyday as well as when I go hang out with friends and family. I have not a clue how to use the tachymeter but it looks pretty stylish on my wrist. There are a bunch of features on this watch that I am not even aware of however this watch isn't going anywhere so I have tons of time to learn. I am glad that I bought this watch instead of a cheaper one. I looked at watches for over two years before purchasing this one. I am also glad that I didn't purchase a more expensive watch, at least for now, such as an omega. Great watch, worth every penny
This watch is great, very stylish and sleek packed with features. I'm not really a guy who uses features, but it's great to know they are there! A few small things to keep in mind. FULLY charge the watch before attempting to set it. Running the signal and automatic setting takes a lot of juice. If you do not line in one the 5 timezones you need to first let the watch automatically update to the time zone nearest to you, and then set to A-TM and set your local time. The date and day are not settable manually so you need that automatic update to get this on track. It confuses me however that the second atomic radio clock it gets its signals from is in Germany, but it doesn't have a German (CET/CEST) time setting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight watch, nice features.
Can't say enough about this watch. Multiple time zones, titanium, radio controlled, perpetual calendar, solar powered, chronometer, day and date, charge level indicator, 24 hour clock AND eye appeal. The band even has 1/2 links for best fit. If you adjust the band yourself, beware. There are tiny little bushings that fall out and are easily lost. Great watch, very light
I bought this watch after having an AT 4004 for a year. Love this style watch, looks complex, but is easy to read and dials are clear, even in dark. The automated time update and solar battery are great for low maintenance. I wanted this one b/c I figured Titanium would be nice and light for everyday wear. That's exactly what this watch is...about half the weight of the stainless steel version I have. Lighter then some of my smaller watches. Great for golf where a heavier watch can be bothersome. Great watch for daily, all day wearing, and it's always charged, and date/time is always correct. Love It. My only wish is that it came in different colors with the titanium case/band.

Lightweight, stylish and rich in appearance
I own several watches, I have refurbished a few watches, I consider myself knowledgeable with features and movements. A really beautiful timepiece
I really love the fact that this is a analog watch that has atomic time keeping..the only other watches i have are casio g-shocks that have this with digital time keeping...the citizen watch face on this one is beautiful..and love the light weight of the titanium ..oh ..let's not forget the awesome sapphire crystal!!!

Awesome except for.....
I also have the gold and silver version of this same watch. I bought this because they are such awesome watches. BUT this one does have one drawback and the reason for only 4 stars, this combination of silver does make it slightly harder to read the writing on the three subdials in anything but the brightest of light.
