Slow But Nice Printing
Veerrrry slooooow, but excellent print quality. Got VERY tired of inkjets going dry, clogging and breaking. Have had very good luck with my b/w laser so decided to try the C410W, NOT sorry. Did have to get a scanner (no multi-function here) but still happy with this. If you need fast printing or high production, this is NOT for you. Some great features, some not so much.
Excellent color quality especially photo print. Has a huge problem printing on card stock or heavy photo paper. This is my second one of these printers (I bought my first one new) and both of them jam when set to to print cardstock. After a while it seems to loosen up and allows some to print but basicially I only use it to print on standard gauge paper. Received the printer in less than a week after I ordered it. Packing and shipping was good. It took less than 15 minutes to install it on my HP Computer. I did not connect the wireless feature since I planned to use it exclusively with my desk top computer. After sitting for some time and going into the energy saver mode, when printing the first page it took less than one minute to print. For a laser printer with a heater, that is most reasonable. This is a very quiet printer and I have no complaints. Print quality is good and aftermarket toner cartridges are reasonably priced at around $70 for a set of four. Excellent especially for the price!
You would think that any laser printer under $200 wouldn't be of good quality but that can't be further from the truth, The setup was a breeze I especially appreciated the WPS setup luckily my router had the same setup so all I needed to do was press 2 buttons and my wireless printer was setup, all I had to do was download the app for my phone and I was printing over my wifi within 5 minutes, with no adjusting needed it spit out a sharp image that was pretty true to the image on my phone. Goes sleep - will NOT wake
I set this up as a wfi printer. This printer goes to sleep. There is NO option to turn sleep mode off. The max time to stay awake is 60 mins. Then your dead. Printer goes to sleep and will not wake unless you restart the printer. DO NOT buy this printer. Too bad because the print quality is not that bad. A color lazer under $100 that is solid.
I am a college student and I don't need to do huge print jobs of thousands of pages at a time. That being said, this little machine was $89 and does everything I need IN COLOR!
