I was advised to get gelatin for my fingernails (I'm guitar player) and this was the very best value I could find. My sense is that most such products are essentially the same, so the real selling point is price. This one was the best price, and comes in a resealable package. What more can you ask?

I bought this to be able to make my own sugar free jello at a fraction of the cost. Sugar free beverage mix in different flavors plus the easy to dissolve gelatin is cheap and easy. I also use fresh lemon or lime juice with artificial sweeteners. This is so much cheaper than the little Knox gelatin packets.

only downside was no instructions for creating your own Jello. I tried several different variations of amounts and found one that suits me. If you fail to add the amount to make it solid enough, reheat and add more. That is what I have done. I normally will take one large container and add cold water and then the powder, still till dissolved then add hot water and mix again until. I then pour into my smaller containers It does totally dissolve vs Knox,
