Needs about 30 percent higher volume
This is a good cd walkman but one thing I don't like about about all of them is they aren't loud enough. It seems like the old cassette walkman's were higher in volume than these cd counterparts. I do like to play those japanese blue-spec cds because they are pumped up in volume and in that case the units loud enough. The problem is those first generation cds that aren't remastered and have a low volume to them. I do like the battery life though. Good unit!!

this item looked so different than the other two walkman cd-players I had acquired on e-bay that I was concerned it would not work as well -- surprisingly, it has become my favorite -- the batteries seem to last twice as long in others I have used and quality of sound is very good.

Review of used Sony DEJ-360 Walkman CD player
Don't know if product defect or a design flaw. Upon completion of playing a CD and turns itself off, (good), when I insert different CD to play, it is neccy for me to adjust volume from "off" position back to the previous volume. Aside from this, the Cd is satisfactory for my needs.

Has all the bells and whistles I need
Over the years I've had three of this model SONY CD player. I'm comfortable with all the features it offers and miss none of the features it lacks. They keep failing only because I keep dropping them! This one could have come better packed, however. A simple padded envelope does not offer sufficient protection.

Very sorry this Walkman didn't work out for me.
Even though the Walkman came in an unopened hard plastic cover, the product was a "new old stock" (NOS) with the foam headphone covers partly stuck to headphones and mostly disintegrated and fell out in pieces when package was opened. Performance of Walkman was not satisfactory when being carried in a pouch on my body. It worked okay when placed on a table. The movements of walking probably caused the disc to slip.

A good solid player
I have owned two of these cd players and both have been excellent players. They don't use much power so batteries last a long time. They lasted for many months of regular playback.
