  • not a good tester

has no common sense instructions, no warning about what not to plug to, it damaged something on my rig as i was testing the sata plug, smelled burning from inside of it, also the sata plug has no one way connection, so you can plug it in both way's by flipping the connector 180 degrees. now one of my cards is not running, which means i'm now diagnosing if this dam thing messed up the cable, or the riser, or the plug in the power supply. i don't recommend this.

  • Good tool IF you know how to use it and what it is the tool tells you.

A brief description of the tool's use and what the readings found mean to you i.e., whether to repair or discard the power supply being tested. For me that concise narrative would have been invaluable. I now have a tool at my disposal that is ready to perform a function that I am not in a position to fully utilize.

  • Great unit for the money..!!

It worked very well right out of the box... Told me what I wanted to know regarding the power supply... It would be nicer to know the actual voltage levels, but that unit is about 4-5 times the cost and would have given me the same answer that the supply was indeed no good... I was pleased with the purchase..!! Bob
