used in bench top variable ,adjustible power supply !!
made a adjustable bench top power supply by removeing the potentiometers and replaced with mounted pots 2$ ,pc board stand off,s 1$. opitional 12 volt fan{didnt use one } a 12 volt ,60 watt ,dc power supply 6$,a volt ,amp display 5$,a vented project box 16$ binding posts2$ ect !works great {watched a "great scott" you tube video !!need a bench top power supply ?? this is what you need to do !its wonderfull !!it has current limiting ,under voltage ,volts ,amps ect !!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poorly packaged.
This item was mailed in a polybag and obviously crushed in transit. Upon further inspection, one heat sink was separated from the board at some point before shipping. The heat sink was damaged, but still re-applied to the board with the same gunk used to attach a CPU to a computer motherboard. They used too much gunk and the heat sink slid beyond the perimeter of the PCB and dried. It is now sticking out beyond the perimeter of the PCB and slightly off the chip it's supposed to protect. In addition, one potentiometer was bent in transit. I don't trust that it will adjust anything when power is applied. The unit arrived without any directions or even a Spec Sheet, no paperwork whatsoever. It was thrown in a bag and mailed to me. That's it.
