Need to use it more, but first steak came out awesome!
Just got this thing and haven't used it very much.. But, installation was easy (took about 15 minutes to follow a video I found on youtube). First steak came out perfect. I had to leave my phone close enough for the bluetooth to remain connected, but it seemed to do it's job. I think it should provide a little more info about when to flip the steak, etc.. Very nice invention. Well made, installs in minutes, easy to connect both to the grill's frame and to the telephone app, follows the temperatures of the meat. However: 1. The temperature of the meat follows the temperature of the grill. If you do the same cuts as we do, you know when to turn the other side 2. Takes time to stick the probes into the meat and you lose heat 3. My wife stopped using it after five attempts. The wires were getting in her way Works like a charm but do you nee it? Keep an eye on thick meat , pork or poultry temps, notifications when propane gets low, well somewhat.. (although once it reaches about 25% that’s all you get until it’s empty) in other words 25% is the lowest reading you’ll get but I didn’t minus a star because this feature wasn’t the main reason I got the igrille and measuring propane level accurately would be a very difficult task without a ton of cost..... I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to listen to music on my Bluetooth speaker and have connection to the Igrille3 at the same time with my iPhone but no problem! I can listen to music on my speaker as well as monitor my meats! technology has a cane a long way ! Monitor temps and check propane level on my grille from my phone, are you kidding me??? Very nice touch to grilling thick meats and 1/4 and whole chicken etc etc. I like it a lot !

not worth the money.
I can see why it is named iGrill 3. It is because it worked exactly 3 times before it ruined my dinner. Bluetooth decided to quit working while making thick cut chops. I thought it seemed to be taking longer than it should so I ran in to the house and got my 8 dollar quick read thermometer and discovered my chops were not at 58 as indicated by the 79 dollar iGrille thermometer but they were now 195 degrees! 50 degrees higher than I had intended to cook them. Works Well So Far
Installation was straightforward with no issues. Only have used it once on a small pork tenderloin but the accuracy of the temp-to-doneness was near flawless. Not worth it
The one I ordered was broken already when I got it and didn't seem to be made of high quality materials. IMO, there are better grill monitors out there for your money.
