I received this as a gift to go with my new phone. I had a LifeProof waterproof case on my last phone and did in fact drop it in the lake! It performed beautifully much to my relief. I will continue to purchase these cases each time I upgrade my phone. I always recommend them to family and friends. Wouldn't consider anything else. My only possible less than 5 star comment would be lack of color options. I am very satisfied with the slim design, but am less than impressed with lack of creative coloration. I however just add a decal "skin" to personalize.

It protects very well. The trouble is after nearly a year the buttons stopped working. First the close button on the right side then the volume control. I oaid top dollar for the first one. Nearly $100. This one was 1/4 that so I figured it worth it, but. The screen protector is a little loose which makes the touch screen less responsive. I sometimes need touch three times before it responds and it generally takes three times the effort and focus to engage the touch screen. It seems completely waterproof though and with that I'm pleased.

I like the feel of the case and the way it protects the phone. I'm sure it would protect the phone if dropped in water. It's light weight and not bulky like some. But it's design does make it difficult to access the edge screen and more pressure is needed to pull down from the top edge. Luckily I very seldom use the edge screen. I haven't noticed any problems with key presses or finger motions. The main reason I purchased this case was that there is an available high quality belt holster. That is my preferred way of carrying the phone. Overall I am very satisfied with the case.

The only issue I have is the VOLUME UP key won't function without a little persuasion. Other than that I knew it was used walking into this, but I would at least expect full functionality. Still a clean case for the price.

Why include the key to get case opened if the case is so flimsy you don't need it? This is not a hard case. This is not authentic. And...Since the 1st day I opened the package, the speaker cover just fell off!? Pretty sure it was not worth the money. Wish I'd have paid $12 more for something authentic!
