Traps 3-1/2 cups water!
Traps 3-1/2 cups water before it shuts off ! had the older model EVD-100 over 2 years with no problems , But requires more frequent draining since it holds only about 12 oz. However i don't like that the EVD-1200 has a rear loading drain tank. Also if there is a power disconnect or surge, you have to restart the start button. Overall I highly recommend it ! We also have cheaper brand ones, that don't hold as much water, & the tank drain plugs are small,& easy to loose, so they take longer time to drain. Both EVA-Dry's all have larger plugs with straps. Our closets no longer are musty since we started using these , & far outperform damp-rid , & silica pellet type dehumidifiers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Eva 1200 not so great
