as usual, kadee couplers add extra value and appeal to my model trains. I have used them for years with no issues.easy to install and gauge, just watch out for those micro springs they fall in to the burmuda triangle or the black hole near my workplace at the blink of an eye, a sneeze or at the minimal shake of my unsteady fingertips. thankfully, Kadee usually includes an extra spring or two in their packages, be careful when opening a new envelope, they fall out and are hard to see. I pick them up with a moistened fingertip then deposit them in a small container for later use should the unfortunate time come when I need to replace one in my knuckle coupler. I have found a flat toothpick works well to place them. follow the instructions on the package, thats all I can say.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

They are really nice and easy to put together, once together and set they work and look very nice. I would recommend switching to #148 which are newer and a lot easier to install.
These are OEM items package from the factory in paper packaging. Moisture over the years has gotten into the packages causing rust on the iron parts and mildew on the brass springs. I don't think I would use the brass spring as they have weakened from the mildew.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
