Needed a little memory
This little memory card really does the trick. I popped it in my video camera and it instantly started working. No wait time because it's a Class 10 (if I remember correctly) card. Yes, there IS a difference. I bought a cheaper one once that turned out to be quite a lower class and each time I took a picture, it had to think about saving it instead of just doing it. Pretty good in my DSLR, but not the fastest
I have two of these and use them in my DSLR for large RAW file capture, and while it's normally acceptably fast, I do notice that the write speed hiccups sometimes if doing long exposure, bracketed, or time-lapse photography. I don't do enough video to say how it handles on that front, but for what I do it's OK, pretty good for the price, but not the fastest in the world. Boring as heck; but, does exactly as advertised ! Only problem is holding on to the tiny thing when inserting and removing.
