Ok with a few annoyances
The remote did not work and it is needed to program favorite stations so that is not a good design in my opinion, as I am now stuck with only auto-program channels. Also every time it is turned on it automatically goes to the dvd setting instead of the tuner option and it takes 4 button pushes to get to tuner...just an annoyance as I only use this for a barn radio. It also always resets to first auto-saved fm channel when turned on and you have to click through one at a time since there are no numbered save options for channels. Could have been better designed.

Priced right,
Price was right.. Not the quality sound of my old Sansui, but at a quarter of the price it works ok for my garage. I'll buy a bigger buck receiver for the house when needed. Weighs about 30 lbs. less than the Sansui. Says something about materials used in construction of modern units.. When I unpacked it I thought it was a bare receiver box with no guts inside.. Still , all in all , it does what it's supposed to do..

brand name at bargain price
it's not for everyone. look at the remote, it does not control the power on and off, which wqs not important to me. it DOES put out great sound at every volume level. crisp tweets and super chest pounding bass. i love it, and for my application, it is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I CALLED PYLE WHEN I COULD'NT CLEAR THE MEMORY CHANNELS, THE WOMAN IN A STRANGE LANGUAGE CALLED ENGLISH TRIED TO TELL ME HOW TO OVERRIDE CHANNELS, STILL CANT DO IT. WHEN ASKED IF I COULD GO TO A CERTAIN PROGRAMMED CHANNEL SHE AGAIN TOLD ME THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE. SO YOU CAN NOT GO TO PROGRAMMED CHANNEL WITH OUT SCROLLING THROUGH ALL TO GET TO THE ONE YOU WANT & YOU CAN'T DELETE ONE. ALSO WHEN YOU TURN THE UNIT OFF & TURN IT BACK ON YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER TURNING THE VOLUME DOWN & FINDING A STATION TO LISTEN TO. ON THE REMOTE YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO MUTE THE SPEAKERS , THEN THE UNIT SHOWS OFF BUT THE DISPLAY STILL GLOWS WHEN YOU GO TO BED. PLENTY POWER BUT STUIP TO USE

Nice stereo
For the price you really can't say much. Yes it sux there isn't a power button on the remote. Yes the volume should be lower when you first turn on the radio. I read about a loud fan but it's a standard computer fan. Not too loud at all. Overall a great radio paired with a set of 100w Sony shelf speakers I had from my old system. I'm very pleased.

If you are looking for a good solid simple receiver the Plye will surprise you!! By no means is this for the audiophile but for tweens and teens who are not hooked to hear buds or those like myself who enjoy background music. We ran this unit for a solid 12 hours straight to provide background noises during Halloween. So for the price and what it can deliver 5 stars all day long.
