Probably one of the least-known but nonetheless best of the television Westerns. Beautifully and expensively done, with wonderful theme music.
Very good Western. It lasted only one season. Somewhat like Star Trek, though, it was so ambitiously done that it out-expensed its ratings. But its one season was beautifully done, with wonderful theme music--some of the best in the history of television. The only draw-back to this set is the source material. It's obviously not recorded from the original film elements, so a little of what might have been its pristine beauty is lost and, in a few places, a few frames appear to be missing as well. One of The Good Ole Western TV Series
I come to know this TV series watching a classic TV channel. I never missed watching it. I ended up cutting my cable and knew this was 1 of the western TV series I had to have. Cimarron Strip will be 1 of those sets that I will watch over and over again.
