I ordered this to fix a broken cord. It works just fine, and it was a great price, but its not as think as the one it replaced and remember when ordering that the length is measured in its coiled state, it may stretch to 7' but if your phone in a desk the base will move before the phone cord stretch's. In hind sight I would get a longer better quality cord.

The coiled cord didn't measure 5 feet; consequently it was too short. The advertisement should have given the actual measurement of the cord in its coiled state. The quality of the cord was good and the price was right. It was unfortunate that the actual measurement of the coiled cord was incorrect.

If you are using this for a wired communication project: don't. The resistance over the cable is 8 Ohms which is just ridiculously high for a cable measuring only a meter and a half. What did you make these wires out of? Recycled soda cans?
