Cleans out your gut.
It does a job of cleaning out your gut. I actually can feel a push in my stomach when i take it which isn't the most desirable feeling. But the product works. I read a review that it gives you arthritis. i have felt some knee pain. And some discomfort in my wrist when active. So i believe it is true. But sometimes that's what tomatoes and potatoes do also. I would problem just balance how much i take of this product.

Good for gut problems.
My daughter has IBS-C and this has helped immensely. I use it as part of my routine for crohns as well. Good product, but hard to come by which is why I have it shipped from Japan to Canada. These bacteria increase butyric acid in the gut which is good for motility and inflammation.

One of the few that has helped me
Because everyones gut bacteria is different it is sometimes very hard to find probiotic that works for you. I've tried many different probiotics over the years, so many different brands that I've lost count. This and Mutaflor are the only ones that has ever helped me, this seem to be helping more than Mutaflor. Some that I've tried that VSL3/VivoMixx and Dr. Ohhira's Professional Formula, Renew Life Ultimate Flora Solgar, Advanced Multi-Billion Dophilus, Prescript Assist and Precosa (boulardii from pharmacy) . Also tried making my own SCD Yoghurt and Kefir.

The only probiotic which contains butyrate producing bacteria inside it.
This is only probiotic commercially available that I know of which has any butyrate producing bacteria in it. All other probiotics contain lactate producing bacteria. When you take antibiotics, they kill off your butyrate producing bacteria and your colon eventually becomes deficient in butyrate. The only ways to remedy the situation are to take butyrate supplements and to take probiotics with butyrate producing bacteria in them. So, I do both.
