This solved the problem
I purchased this for a Kenmore Elite gas range that was no longer lighting. After doing internet searches and watching videos, I was convinced the igniter was the issue. Hemmed and hawed over how much to spend, whether or not to get OEM, etc. Found an OEM here that was 1/2 the price of what others were charging (both online and locally) and took a chance. It arrived quickly, was easy enough to install (no splicing, just plugged in) and voila, oven is working again. Can't attest to longevity, but happy it all worked out.

Perfect fit
This was purchased for a Frigidaire gas oven that was not maintaining it's preset heat. The part was a perfect fit and functions exactly as intended. Installation was not difficult but a bit awkward due to the low level of the oven and a set of arthritic knees. All in all, it was worth it as it was hundreds cheaper than a service call or new oven!

Be careful (Part 2)
Just a tip- my beautiful ignition device arrived in perfect condition. Well packaged secured. However on installing the device I lightly pushed on the coil and it shattered into 5 or 6 pieces. TOTALLY my fault!!! Now I find myself waiting for another one due to my own carelessness. Be careful! Second try- I carefully installed in about 2 minutes- so easy just click in. PERFECT! I have my oven back! Again the part was excellent- but delicate- broke my first one being dumb. Highly recommend this device and this company

Got my oven working again
After I tested the oven gas valves, I knew it had to be the igniter. Most google searches say that the gas valves rarely go bad. I thought my igniter was good because it still would flow fairly bright when,i tried to turn oven on. Apparently it wasn't enough or had the correct amp reading to give the oven control board the signal to open the gas valve. I installed this and now the oven ignites within 30 seconds. I did have to splice the wires from the old pigtail to this unit but no big deal. It includes ceramic wire nuts that were required. Never use plastic wire nuts or electrical rape on this connection as,it obviously gets too hot.

Much less Expensive than a New Oven
While it is more expensive to purchase this genuine manufacturer's part I felt it was worth the price difference after seeing reviews of after market replacement ignitors that did not last as long as the real thing. Time will tell, but so far this part has our oven back up and baking like new.

Just what was needed
Works just fine and a lot cheaper than I could get it anywhere else. Used a piece of the styrofoam packaging to protect it during installation, as it should not be touched and is very brittle and breaks easily, if it gets dropped. Very happy, as I saved anywhere from $50 to $100!
