Not a True Isolation Transformer
It is a 1:1 transformer but the primary is grounded, the secondary is grounded, the outlet is grounded. All tied to mains ground. Nothing isolation about it. I bought this for my bench to isolate equipment under test from mains ground. I also expected better quality from TripLite. There is no board for the filter caps. They half ace put them behind the outlet. The outlets are cheap quality. After some modifications and replacing the outlets I was able to use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
