    Does not strip my lawn

    I had seen many videos about this toro lawn striper so I decided to spend the $80.00 to get it. First off trying to put the unit together was not that easy. The height adjustment bars that insert in the tubes were extremely tight and had a difficult time to insert. The I tried the unit on my lawn according to specifications and filled with sand and was totally disappointed. No real stripes. I then tried lowering the unit even further onto the ground and still NO stripes. Also note that when you go to pull the lawnmower back the unit gets caught and starts to buckle under the lawnmower..NOT GOOD! All in all very disappointed with this unit..

    good value; could not run my lawn mowing business without it

    this has been a real bonus for my business which is mowing lawns and general yard work. I have a fixed number of high end customers and they are very pleased with the look of their lawns since I have started using the lawn striper. It takes a little longer to do a lawn and have it look right but I spend a fixed amount of time each week at a property so if it takes longer to do a lawn it is acceptable. I don't run a "mow, blow and go" operation so it doesn't matter if I spent some extra time to get the right look.

    Exactly what it says

    This worked perfect. Takes a little getting used to, but once you get going its awesome. Had neighbors stop and ask me how I got such good stripes during my first mow. I did adjust my height on my mower one notch up to have longer blades to lay down. I noticed a difference on the 2nd mow doing this. Look at some videos online to see how to get the stripes in the right light to stand out more. Works great

    This was just what I was looking for, sure beats buying a Reel mower and making strips like the pros do on the golf course. I’ve only used it one but in the back yard I did the checkerboard pattern and it turned out great. This will fit any mower not just Toro but in my opinion if you ain’t got a toro your missing out on a great lawn.

    It works well but the quality leaves a lot to be desired.

    While this product does work well, I'm sure it will break after on season. -The screws have been stripped and I had to replace them after the first mow -The teeth that hold it together do pop in and out of place and have to be re-adjusted while you mow.

    Works very well. Went together easily, and fit on Lawnboy mower great! Leaves some really nice stripes. You have to cut on a higher level, it doesn't work if you cut your grass short. 3.5" - 4" is best. Pictures to prove it...
