    Great Camera and Fairly Easy to Use

    While a few of the on screen controls are a bit clunky I like that you have those options to begin with. There are many online tutorials explaining what everything does and what values work best for various filming conditions. I used a knockoff action cam before for 120FPS footage and it was dark and grainy but this camera was far better at utilizing the available light and keeping the image sharp even with digital stabilization. Definitely worth the money for a used one. If you're like me and don't need to mount the camera to yourself or a moving vehicle there isn't much reason to get a newer version than the 6 Black since those mainly add Hypersmooth stabilization with little improvement to the image. The app controls are pretty nice too but I rarely use them since on camera is fine. I particularly like that even if the camera is off and you need to start shooting right away hitting the record button will get it filming within 5 seconds and then stopping record will shut it down to conserve the battery. You can even disable only the front red LED to avoid reflections of it blinking but still be able to tell if it is recording from behind or the side.

    It wasn't a hero 6

    It wasn't what it was said to be it was a 5 clearly marked on the side and on the book that came with it . It also my have some issues.
