GREAT Bass Processor with added EQ settings.
this unit has 3 additional EQ settings that most bass processors do not have. I have a slim ported Rockville dual 12 sub box under the back seats of my van. Without the processor, I just could not get my bass to how I liked it. Installed this processor and it works wonderful. The two knob remote is good. I do not find myself adjusting the Frequency cut off, just using the bass enhancement circuit depending on the music I send it. Most of the time, the bass enhancement is really low on the remote, but, when putting on some early 80's new wave (think Depeche Mode's first 3 albums), you need to enhance the bass. Better than expected!
I am impressed. First, if you use RCA cables make sure you have it set on 'balanced'. Then, after carefully adjusting it to my subwoofer, trying each dial one at a time from low to high and listening for the difference, I was able to improve the sound and clarity of the music. Especially the low end bass. Then, on to the remote knobs where I could tweak it right up to the point just before distortion, where I can turn up the volume without hurting my speakers or ruining the sound. Yes, I am impressed! If you want and need control of your subwoofer, to adjust it to exactly what you want for your kind of sound, then this is the bass reconstruction processor that you want. The price is very reasonable and it makes a huge difference in the sound of my system. I didn't realize that my subwoofer could sound this good. Seriously, I don't have a real expensive system, but it sure sounds great with this as the final piece that I needed. It boosted the volume of my subwoofer to about three times as much (at least) and the bass tones (multiple) to the max of my speakers. To say it simply, it maximizes the capability of the bass sound.
