Great product, if you know these tips. (Owners of IBM Model M keyboards take note.)
I have had the predicessor to the CP24 for many years and it continues to work perfectly. The CP24 is remarkably useful and it is rugged enough to last decades. Home users can program this keyboard to give you one-key-stroke ability to type any frequently used combinations of characters. You must do the programming using a Windows system, but, once programmed, the CP24 will work with any system. This enables you to use an Apple keyboard plus the CP 24 with a Windows system, or an older keyboard (with no Windows key) with a modern version of Windows. But, this seller isn't selling the stock CP24. This has custom keycaps made for some special purpose. So, to get the most from it, you may want to buy some new keycaps from Adafruit. They areabout $5 for 10 keycaps. You would need 2 sets to replace the 7 double-wide keys with single keys, or 3 sets to replace all the keys. The Adafruit keycaps come with removeable clear caps so you can place paper pabesl under the covers. The second thing you need to know is that you can load the manual and the software from the Genovation website.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
