The usb cord is not near long enough to get the adapter on the top shelf of my computer desk.. I tried adding a 6' extension usb cord and the adapter would not work.. Just flash off and on..The usb cord is only about 3.5' long.. I believe it would work much better if I could put it on my top shelf as intended..
