Cloudy and dark
I have several new Lava Lamp, all genuine and this one is the only one that is this poor of quality, The liquid is very cloudy, the 'purple' wax is actually fuchsia, not even close to purple and so dark it barely lets light through until the wax is fully melted. I really hate it, It's so bad that I don't think I could even sell it to try to recoup some of my money.

14,5 Inch Lava Lamp
I made a poor choice with this particular lamp. It is very dim in the daylight. The blue inside liquid is dark, the base lightbulb put outs dim, yellow light and the purple 'lava' is hard to see inside the blue lamp liquid. It's fair, with no ambient lighting. The lamp itself functions well, but the color combinations and low-light emission make me regret choosing this color.

It was said to be blue liquid with purple lava. But in actuality it's beautiful blue lagoon liquid with the most perfect color of pink silky shiny lava!!! I'm utterly thrilled. Came in 3 days too!

This is a good lava lamp at the best price on ebay. Liquid is clear, lava is dark. Only negative is that it takes so long to warm up. You have to give wait at least an hour for the wax to melt and do its thing.

awesome color, bright neon pink raspberry and well packaged, even the bulb was well protected. No cloudy liquid with this product, clear as a bell and the lava (wax) is bright pink in color.

Liquid very mirky
After the long waiting for heating the lava in the liquid, I realised that the Purple lava and the blue liquid do not match well as the liquid is very mirky. Maybe other colour collections are better than this one.

Fun to watch. Great gift idea!
Bought the lava lamp for my grandson.for his birthday.He'd been asking for one. We turn it on an hour - an hour and a half before beditime so he can enjoy the cool shapes and changes as he falls asleep. I turn it off once he has fallen asleep. It's cool, it's colorful and it's so retro ☺
