All around excellent scanner that is easy to set up and use plus it is fast!
I have owned several Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners and owned the previous version of this one. I watched and read reviews and was led to believe that this one was slightly faster than the previous model. Seriously? I don't know what those reviewers were smoking but this scanner starts up faster, scans a lot faster, the image shows up on my screen in a fraction of the time, is much easier to use and works with either a Windows or Mac OS. The software that it automatically downloads is a huge improvement over the software that was with the previous model. Maybe if you are scanning 50 pages or more at a time this would be "just a little faster" but 99% of the time I scan 1 page with the rest of my scans being 8-35 pages (contracts). I ask people who appear to like a product the question "If your item was stolen or demolished, would you replace it with the exact same one?" Fast and easy
This machine cut my heavy workload of copying many documents into seconds to copy. It does so easily by scanning everything (both sides) in seconds. Just insert all the paperwork into the machine, press scan and it does the rest. It saves everything by creating a pdf file that contains everything scanned. Love how fast it works!
It scans a lot faster than my other scan snap. The scanning strips were dirty when I initially started to set it up and I had an error message to clean them for the machine to work. Much better than expected with easy set up!
I have always used Fujitsu as a scanner but this one is far and above excellence. There are so many features to it from a simple scan to scanning receipts right to a folder to scanning and emailing. Scanning to the 'home' screen is perfect if you don't know where to put things and I love that it is FAST. I am a Loan Signing Agent and I have to scan full real estate files back to title companies. In less that 3 minutes, the file is scanned and I'm on my way to dropping it at a UPS store. Excellent scanner and highly recommend.
