I have four Eeros in a fairly large two story home. We are in a rural area, so I bought a Netgear Nighthawk LTE modem and connected the Eeros to it. This gives me good coverage. My only complaint is that the Eeros can be difficult to reconnect if the modem goes down, which it does from time to time due to poor WiFi signal or modem overheating. . Once the signal is restored, the Eeros are easy to get back on line.

I bought this refurbished version because (a) I did not need the much more expensive EERO 6 because I live in an area that does not have fiber optic internet and (b) I thought it would work as well as the router provided by my telephone company at an annual rental cost almost 5 times as much as the cost of this router. I’ve had Eero since the crowdfunding and it just works. Forget all the other Mesh systems. This is by far the easiest to manage and the performance is sublime. Converting the gateway to a Eero 6 Pro took all of five minutes. I just can’t say enough great things about this system.
