Stick with name brand! Worth every cent!
I purchased two cheapo models of vacuum sealers and after their very short lives of actually working, I decided to just bite the bullet and pay for the more expensive food saver brand. I wish I had just done that right from the start! This thing is amazing! After owning the junk versions I can now really appreciate the quality that comes with the food saver brand. This model is light weight and super simple to operate. I didn't buy it for game or the appearance but rather because it was on a great sale. I have talked about this so much that my brother, who is an avid hunter and butchers his own game, is going to purchase one as well. Its not designed to be compact, it has a built in storage area for a large roll of bag material. It works great! I really got into using this machine. I like the way the upper part of the machine locks down with the right hand twist handle rather then other machines you have to push down upper part and click in the lock down tabs. Real nice vacuum sealer for food storage.
Really nice food vacuum sealer. Compact, stores nicely in my cupboard. Looks kind of cool with the camo design. I used it for the first time this morning, and was really happy with it. This is my second FoodSaver vacuum sealing machine. The first one we bought over 20 years ago and it quit working about a year ago. The heating/sealing element went bad.
