Stocks are well built and easy to install, however, they are directional and need to be installed in a certain direction or the swivel balls comes loose when you tighten them and you'll pop out a tiny o-ring. They have a little bit of adjustability with soft and hard sprins plus a threaded nut on the piston. Had to add some grease to the inside of the piston to smooth out the action. No additional travel vs. the stock SCX24 stocks. Would not recommend unless you have extra cash to blow.

I run a hard body with truggy cage on my scx24 these shocks have a preload collar and two different springs to allow tunability to the truck. I also used 3000 weight dif fuid in the shock body they are buttery smooth shocks worth the money.

They are just a aluminum version of the stock shocks. Through and through. Works a little worse in my opinion. Had to clean metal put of the tubes and used my stock springs because the ones that come with it must be for pig bodies or diecast.

Rough travel not at all smooth. Stock setup performs better. They don't work or kinda do with Hot Racing shock mounts. The only viable setting for Hot Racings shocks to Hot Racing shock mount is the highest setting so the shock body does not contact the shock mount. If you try to run a droop setup and mount the shock to the highest mounting hole the shock body makes contact with the mount and binds up a lot. If your into looks only and want aluminum parts they will work they just don't perform for the money. $6.72 per shock should be cut in half more like $3.36 per shock or $13.44 for a set. I wouldn't have left this review if I paid that for them.

Great looking hardware with very scale look , the only problem I'm having, is the O rings holding the shocks in keep shifting then eventually popping out ... O rings of this size are incredibly hard to come by ... Otherwise great suspension and articulation.. add a couple drops of shock oil and your slowly creeping
