This is a nice little trimmer for a smaller yard, I would say 6500 square feet or less. My yard is a little over 10,000 square feet. I tried to do my yard with this trimmer but the battery gave out before I could get the yard finished. A 17 in. trimmer my friend let me use works a lot better. The 12 in. trimmer seems to have to work harder with the .065 line. My friend's 17-inch trimmer with .095 line does much better, and it gets the entire trimming done .Nice trimmer just not big enough.Verified purchase: Yes

Lots of positives with a couple of weaknesses.
Overall I like this string trimmer. I do wish the spools were bigger( to hold more line) like my last trimmer (a Toro) and the support handle was sturdier feeling. Nice that it is adjustable but it does not lock firmly in place and makes one concerned about long term reliability. With that said everything is spot on. Versatile and light weight
This is our second WORX product. First one was a blower bought five years ago that is still on its original battery. Bought this one for my wife, as it is lighter weight and versatile for what she wants to do with it. I haven't started my gas trimmers since we got this one! Both units were refurbished, and though the original box wasn't included, who cares? The units looked brand new and included original full warranty. Pleased with my worx
This is my second works GT string trimmer. My other unit was about six years old and I believe the first generation. It held up well and did an amazingly good job for being such a compact lightweight unit. Still works well, just wanted another unit with a more powerful battery and the extended length of the shaft makes it easier for me to use without having to bend over so much.
