Lots of functions for a casual cell phone user, and a great price!
Pros: Great value for a new cell phone. Excellent battery life. Lots of functions available on the phone, like fingerprint scanner & face recognition. Reviews say it has a slow processor, but in comparison to my prior (older) phone, this one is much better. Quite durable, too (although it has a case & tempered glass cover). Cons: Not easy to learn how to use this one. Most cell phones have a learning curve, of course, but this one seems less intuitive than most - even for savvy cell phone users. There are a list of errors that keep popping up (SD card not formatted, app installation not complete, stuff like that). Resolving the errors is a pain in the arse. No wireless charging. Moto G Play: Best Battery Life and Fast Hardware with Limited Display
Moto G Play is the best budget phone I ever bought. Its 1.8 GHz processor and 3 GB RAM make this phone fast on Android 10. The battery life is the best I've seen yet and is the standout feature. The 13MP rear camera is fine for casual use. The phone works best for audio fans like me..The typically low Android device headphone jack output can be improved with a booster app for your headphones and wirred speaker. Internal speaker volume is loud but tinny, Bluetooth works well. I am glad the phone comes with a USB-C charging port. I prefer internal storage to SD card storage, so 32 GB of storage is inadequate in this day of large apps, and HD music, movie and photo downloads.The screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels on its large 6.5 inch scfreen together with inadequate brightness limits viewing to web surfing, photos and email use indoors.
