    Perfect fix for stickey or non-working Locks

    This product is a great fix (or alternative) to a non-working Key or Lock which early CRVs are known for having. In my case, our 2003 LX drivers door lock would not turn and the passenger lock was beginning to fail as the key would hardly go in. So I ordered this keyless entry module and key fobs to aviod the use of a key (unless power failure). The installation process was easy and plugged right in to the stock wiring. Then programed the 2 remotes and presto, keyless entry. Highly recommend this product.

    easy instalation, with included instructions

    Very easy installation with included instructions from Honda. Look hard for the wire connector with blue tape, it's there. it took longer to get Fobs programed than to install the receiver. Was fun project. By pushing the lock command twice, it will beep horn, letting me know the doors are locked. If a door is ajar, it will not beep.

    02 CRV LX

    02 CRV LX. This model does not come with keyless entry, but the EX does. But this model does have power locks. We had an after market alarm that stopped working, since the alarm was also the keyless entry, we decided to go with the OEM keyless entry. We put the alarm into valet mode and use the new OEM keyless entry. Works perfect. The key fobs even came pre programmed. I had to release a wire harness in order to get the module into its correct spot. From beginning to end about 20 minutes.

    Easy install, works great, Element compatible.

    Since this CRV keyless entry is also compatible withe the Element, I installed this system in my 2004 Honda Element. It works great! Two clicks of the lock button makes a soft honk of the horn to confirm all doors are locked. One click unlocks the drivers side door, two unlocks both doors. Simply plug into the empty green wiring harness under the dash and your all set, easiest device to install.

    Great Solution for Non-Functional Door Locks

    I bought a 2002 Honda CR-V LX trim for my college daughter. Neither the driver door lock or the tailgate lock were functional with the key. It would have a been a lot of effort and/or time to replace the lock cylinders and re-key everything. After some research, I found this item as a potential solution. I removed the cubby in the dash, plugged the transponder in, clicked the remotes and the doors locked and unlocked. A great solution.

    Glad I bought this.... totally worth it 😁

    My 2002 Honda CRV didn't come with the Keyless entry module. I simply installed this keyless entry module by removing one screw to the glove/storage box under the radio. Then I cut a piece of blue tape and found the green plug that plugs into the module. The Keyless entry remotes worked instantly. All I had to do was reset the auto roll down on the drivers window. I am Very Happy 😁

    Easy!

    Very easy to do. Took 15 minutes. Remotes are already paired to the receiver. Pop a cover plate off, remove one screw, plug the receiver in. Done. Fobs come with batteries. works perfectly.
