I had a slightly modify the eyecup in order to fit down onto the viewfinder of the GX85. By modify I mean take a razor blade reduce some of the length or trim the base of the eyecup. I then used some epoxy putty specifically designed for plastics molded it around the original viewfinder and mounted eyecup. I had to sand it down a little bit once the epoxy cured and then painted it to match. Can't even tell that it was modified and it works great. No visibility issues out of thevviewfinder on the GX85 any longer.
