    Nicely built stand, with good features, and it's fairly lightweight.

    I DO have other double braced (older OSP) stands that are ALMOST as light as this one, so the weight is not the BEST thing about this stand. But it can get in places that other designs can't, and the smooth tilter is a GREAT feature. I looked at Ludwig and DW and bought this one just for the lower price, just to see if I like the basic design. I do, and will probably buy another when I see it as low as I paid for this one. These are more solid that those old 60's flat base stands that I owned back then.
