Because it's a VHS tape it's not super clear when you record onto it. But, for me, that's good enough. I use VHS tapes to record my recordings off of my DVR and store until I can record my VHS to DVD. Thank goodness I was able to find this at a reasonable price because VHS tapes are now super expensive. I get that VHS tapes are on their way out because it's so outdated, but the prices else where are ridiculous. Thank goodness I found this. I love being able to watch movie after movie back to back on VHS tapes, it brings back good memories. It works well and is as described. Good buy.
