    My first table was a SL-D3 that I bought in 1978! It served me for many years before I gave it to my younger brother in 1993. I buy and sell Technics tables on eBay, all from the mid 1970s to early 1990s. Sold dozens of the D3. They are a reliable fully auto table that will last for thousands of plays and many years. They are a good model for most people, though Technics made better models like the SL-1300 and others.
