This blender is great and does exactly what it should. Makes great smoothies and will be good when I get to preparing sauces, etc. I gave it 4 stars only because the pitcher is plastic and it feels a bit light. But overall seems sturdy and quality made. Ninja Blender is an exceptional piece of equipment. Forget those cheap blenders that brake, start to leak or quit working completely after few times and don't even get the job done right (if they work). Wife is very happy with it
We own other more powerful blenders than this, but my wife likes to use this Ninja over the others because it is easier to take out of the cabinets, and it does a great job blending everything we put in it. I'm still waiting to see how well it will do once the blades lose some of their sharpness, but right now, this thing is hard to beat. Would I buy this again knowing what I know now. Definitely.
