Considering how old this CPU is, it performs very well. Much faster than my fx 8350 in games and it's 18 months older than the 8350 or more. I replaced my i5 2500 with this and it got rid of any existing bottleneck according to benchmarks. Too bad my motherboard doesn't overclock.
