The phone is quite nice but alas the battery life could be better. The screen is clear, large and very vivid to my eyes. I like the LG implementation of the OS. I also own a stock Android tablet running Marshmallow 6.0 and this LG is every bit a pleasure to use as my tablet. The screens are responsive as are the apps. I do hope LG and/or AT&T offer the Marshmallow update to this device, but we will see. I came from a Windows Nokia Lumia to this phone and I am sold on the Android experience on my phone. I like this LG enough that I would purchase another one and my very well do so to replace my wife's Windows phone in the very near future pending additional funds. This phone came unlocked for GSM and AT&T which is my carrier so all I had to do was insert my SIM Card and I was on the network in about five minutes after receiving my unit. I have had no problems with my third party and so I couldn't be happier with this phone by LG. If the battery was better I would rate it a five star, but that one feature is an issue you must watch. It does come with a removable battery if you are so inclined to carry a spare. It also has an SD card slot for expandable memory, but with 32 GB of RAM I still have about 16 GB open for use. If you are looking for a less expensive option to upgrade your phone, this is a very good option to consider. With the 3 GB of internal RAM, the 801 Snapdragon Processor, 5.5 inch screen with 538 ppi and Gorilla 3 glass, this one fine phone.Read full review

Great phone overall. They can have their problems at a low probability (flicker and fade issue, faulty sd card slot). I am on my second one, but the ability to remove battery and add an sd card (128gb support) is the best features that you cant get in the high end phones anymore. Not sure when Marshmallow (MM) gets pushed to your variant, but it didn't for mine so I rooted while on KitKat 4.4.2 (used purple drake), installed twrp via adb, installed fulmics 4.1 and OTA updated to 4.2 (I do not think the Rom supports Voice over LTE, so uncheck that in settings). Battery life is amazing using MM compared to Lollipop. Overall this phone is a bargain for anyone slightly tech savy.

I really like this phone. I like the way it's built. I like the fact that I can drop it, and my GPS chip still works. I like the responsiveness of the screen, and the tap twice to unlock, rather than pushing the power button. The battery life is good for one of these, and the built in 32gb of storage is outstanding. It does have one bug, which as far as I know is still unresolved. Occasionally, the tap to unlock feature goes wonky. It either won't tap at all, or it will tap, but then the screen shuts itself off again. The only way around it at that point, is to take the battery out, and force the phone to reboot. It doesn't happen often, but it's very annoying when it does. Would that stop me from buying the phone? I don't think it would. Every phone has it's issues and quirks. But overall, I'm thrilled with this one. The good far outweighs the bad.Read full review

So far I like the G3 better. It's taken some getting used to but I'm slowly getting a handle on it. The biggest change was after I first set up the LG it was gobbling up my Data of which I only have 300 MB with good old ATT and I'm usually on Wifi so it was a shock. I've managed to shut down all the little apps that were automatically updating using over the air data, (even a lot of apps that I wasn't even using. I only use about 5 apps total. I like the bigger screen though it not too big to fit in most of my shirt pockets. I like the texting screen better than blackberry which was always sending texts before I was ready or hitting the stupid emogee screen when I was trying to edit a text. LG/Android has a better setup in my opinion. My one complaint is that with Blackberry I could delete emails off the phone and they would remain on the server so I could later access them from my desktop. An email deleted from my LG is totally gone. Supposedly I can change the G3 to leave them on the server, though so far it has stumped me trying to change it. The used G3 I got off of Ebay turned out to be pretty decent--a little better than I had expected. The Blackberry had gotten so I couldn't hear coversation or music which was a problem even when the Z10 was brand new. The G3 is LOUD and I like it that way. The G3 has longer battery life than the Z10 as well--the Z10 would get hot even when I wasn't using it and drain the battery-- apparently doing updates or something. I'm a light user, so Z10 battery should have easily lasted all day with the smaller screen.Read full review

I've had an old GX2 for awhile before I had this one, and the features are amazing for someone who hasn't had such an awesome phone ever. It even beats out my ipad air that I love to death. On to the features. The 5G wifi connection is awesome especially when only one other person in my house can get onto it with their devices. It makes everything so much faster and easier than before. The next thing is the large screen, yes I can't hide in my back pocket at work anymore, but the graphics make it a sight to see and make the little bit of game play that I do actually fun and easy to see. Next was onto the switch over from Verizon to my T mobile account. It did take a little extra work to make this work for the first few days even the text was not working right, but after I looked around I was able to find the correct settings and go to my local T mobile to get a smaller sim card without being charged. So on the upside for me I have LTE speeds now, but on the downside I had to get a smaller sim card. Cons: Still trying to figure out all the features, and haven't been able to get the Verizon apps off the phone yet, but it was like that with my last phone and ATT. The other con would be the battery life, because it is such a massive phone it sucks the juice out fast even when I turn all the features off. Sitting it's fine, but as soon as I do anything it does use it up. Though I did get mine refurbished so that might be the reason. Conclusion: I love my new phone, and though I might invest in a better battery I wouldn't trade it for anything else. It has all that I need, and I was able to get it at a great price because I was willing to do my research to make it happen. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone on a budget who still wants the power of a next gen phone w/o paying next gen prices.Read full review
