Amazing how many things I have around my house that use AA batteries. I've gotten some of these Panasonic's before been replacing my old Energizers as I go with these Panasonic Eneloop 2000mAh. Suggest to try these and do a comparison with another manufacture as see which last longer? I started noticing my older energizer batteries just don't seem to hold a charge as long as they once did when I bought them so trying out these Panasonic's to see how well they last.

I quit using dry batteries and even use these in clocks and remotes. Also I like the BQ-CC17 smart charger that Panasonic has as well. They seem to work well so far also with a 1/2 amp load.

I understand that there are less expensive rechargeable batteries on the market. My decision to purchase this specific model is based on the big picture. I thinking in terms of charge cycles. As well the quality of this battery model don't need recharging near as often as the less expensive equivalent AA. Although it is a lot of money up front it is worth while. I use these both in my home and self employment business for wireless microphones. I recommend this without any hesitation.

We've been using (reusing) the Eneloop rechargeable batteries for years now and they are GREAT!! I recommend them all the time! :) Did you know that you can purchase adapters to turn your AA into a C or a D battery? Check it out! VERY convenient!

Had too many remotes destroyed by leaking batteries--ever alkalines and when they leak is a lot of goo and destroys everything. Zink carbon leak less goo. To go to these much more expensive hi current batteries seems overkill but not really since they don`t leak and are better value if you treasure some expensive remotes.

I have been using eneloop batteries for several years and definitely recommend them over disposable batteries. Don't have false charging levels and have never had a bad battery. Hold their charge for years so are always ready

Got my first batch of these from Costco in 2014, and some of them still work! I’d say they last about 3-5 years depending on: What they’re powering, Surrounding temperatures, Number of charge cycles, Proper usage (Charge pairs together, don’t mix old with new, best kept dry, etc) Amazing performance at a reasonable price!
