I have used a half dozen vertical mice and the Evoluent VM4 has the best hand position and good stability staying upright versus other brands' offerings. For the best experience choose the correct size for your hand. One thing I would improve is colour options.

Great product, but very pricey!
This mouse is definitely comfortable and actually feels quite natural to use. I had aches that I didn't even notice I had disappear after using this mouse for a few days. The only drawback is the price! If you can get away with a cheaper vertical mouse, I say go for it. But, if you have already started noticing discomfort, i would suggest this one as I know it actually works well.
