Nice Looking and Feeling Device.
This tablet looks and feels premium. Performance feels a little janky which was a surprise, even when it was updated to 5.0 lollipop. I am upgrading from a Nexus 7 2013 and performance on that is better than this Galaxy Tab in terms of smoothness and speed . I had to adjust to the weight of this tablet, I risk hand strain whenever I hold it one handed. Seller described the device having minor screen burn-in which I think is a misrepresentation. There is a prominent ghosting of 'Galaxy Tab' that can be seen in the center of the screen on most things that you do. The only time that you can't see it is when you are looking at dark colors. If you have a white background you can see there is more burn in on the bottom and right hand portion of the screen. Thankfully the burn-in of those images are not as prominent. I would say the burn-in covers 60% of the display. I got the system brand new which meant I got to take advantage of the goodies Samsung gives with their premium devices: 12 months premium Evernote, 6 month premium Pocket, Free books through Kindle, etc. Experience wise, the tablet has been a joy reading walking dead comics, binge-watching Daredevil, and playing GTA: San Andreas. Doing the above on battery I got 7 and a half hours of screen on time. The only problem was that damn screen burn-in. If I could do this all over again I would go for for the Dell Venue 8 7000. It also has an OLED display, feels premium, and takes SD cards. And It's lighter to hold. Unless you really want a 10 inch screen then this is a good bet. Seller delivered item promptly and was willing to accept return due to the screen burn-in I reported above. Best tablet
Got this like new for great price. Has possibly the best screen ever on a tablet. Fast processor, no lag. Plenty of free apps for everything I need on googleplay. Can connect to an external monitor and use Bluetooth kb and mouse - try that with an ipad. With powered otg can use with external hdd. Like the screen size and format better than the newer s2 or s3. It's a good tablet. It has a vibrant display, the colors are great. On this tablet unlike some others your touch features are built into the LCD instead of a separate digitizer screen. If you do happen to drop and crack the screen it most likely will continue to function well. One of Samsung's better pieces of equipment. This tablet is fast and smooth with a brilliant display. Excellent for productivity and entertainment. Unlike the newer Tab S versions, this one has the speakers located on each side of the screen providing a pretty good audio experience. Overall briliant tablet. Better than the Tab S2
OK, the Tab S has better resolution, more pixels per inch, longer battery life, expandable memory to 128GB, and a bigger screen than the Tab S2. The Tab S2 can be updated to Android 6, and is built to compete directly with the iPad Pro 9.7, as far as size, and resolution. Great tablet, demo units can have worn screens.
I like the Samsung 10.1 screen tablet. It is big enough to easily read everything and has enough power to display full screen HD content. The battery life is very good. I can watch several hour long shows on a plane flight and still have battery life. You have to be careful buying a Samsung tablet on e-bay as units that have spent a few months running a demo video will wear out the screen. You can see ghost images of what was on the screen. Excellent tablet
This tablet has an amazing screen and still can hold its own with much newer models. It may have an updated version out there but the Tab S 10.5 is still an great tablet for anyone in my opinion. I don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone that asks. Battery life is above average, even with watching streaming media. Very good tablet
We got this tablet refurbished for a still price, and I have to say that we are very satisfied, the color are very vivid and the performance is as good as you need it, the octa-core processor does the job, and the size is just perfect. We also own the previous 10.1 with the stylus that feels bigger and heavier than this 10.5.
