  • Norelco still makes the best electric razor.

Without a doubt, Norelco makes the best electric razor still. It has all of the features that 90% of users want and is very competitively priced. They last forever. The one that I am replacing is 23 years old and still works but is getting a little weak motor wise.

  • "Doesn't Live Up To The Manufacturer's Hype"

In general, Norelco electric shavers are good quality. I bought this one for two reasons. 1. Cord/Cordless function and 2. Manufacturer's hype claims it provides a really close shave. The cord/cordless function is great. It can be used either way - very convenient - especially when the charge wears off. This model, however, did not give me a better shave than one of Norelco's cheaper models, of which I have bought and used several. I get a good shave from it, but my expectations of a really close shave, to cut down my shaving time, were not met at all. For me it was not worth the price.

  • Excellent replacement for my old nortelco shaver

My old Norelco shaver 4825 XL has served we well for many years, but it needed new batteries, replacement heads, plus, I wanted to try a newer model. The series 3000 was an excellent choice, and the price was great. Very very happy with the new shaver. Very smooth shave, quite and very easy to clean.

  • Easy to use

The battery lasts a long time before needing a charge . Easier to clean out than my old Norelco shaver . It shakes out well and you can rinse it with hot water too . It did take a little while before my beard got a close shave , about 1-2 weeks then it was great ! If you have never used an electric razor give it time for your beard to get use to it then it will shave you close .

  • Nice Shaver

The Philips Norelco S3310 is a very nice shaver. It's what I consider as light weight, quiet and does a good job, just as my past Norelco shavers have done. It can run with the cord plugged in which is a great feature, in case the battery went dead and the shaver is needed immediately. The heads can be cleaned with water if need be.

  • A good razor but wears out very quickly

I ordered this razor for my husband. I gave it all yes answers to your above questions, but according to my husband, it's a good razor but doesn't last very long. I guess Phillips Norelco just isn't what it used to be. He had ordered one back in November of last year and the blades are already worn out in just 7 months and he doesn't even have a thick beard at all. He would've just bought new heads but a set of heads costs about the same as a new razor. A no-brainer I guess. He likes the rotary heads so he doesn't have a lot of choice about what to buy and doesn't want to pay $200+ for a razor. It's a shame that the quality of Norelco has gone down like it has.

  • Norelco is the bomb!

My new Norelco 3100 shaver has it all: a close comfortable shave, it's easy to handle & control, easy to recharge (and lasts a long time on a charge), and it's easy to clean and washable. It's lightweight and travels well, too. All my Norelco shavers have been very durable as well, so I expect this one to last me many years.

  • Very satisfied customer

Excellent shaver; comfortable close shaves every time; long lasting battery power; easy to keep clean with the faucet rinse feature; amber color light tells you when to recharge the battery so you never get caught with loosing battery power. I highly recommend.

  • This was almost like overnight delivery 2 days is all it took. It's a good quality shaver.

This is the third one of this type that I have bought. They've all been good

  • Philips Norelco 3100 razor

For me it has all the features I was looking for. When it's time to replace the blades ( Manufacture recommends once a year) with my light beard I wait two years and buy another razor instead of replacing the blades. This one works just as good as the 1000 and 2000 series razors I have used in the past.
