As it comes its very lose and hard to keep adjustment but it will work as received. I turned up two nylon bushings to go around the adjustment screws. Not everyone has a lathe so this might not be helpful. I have two other types of case openers and this one is the best.

I have not used this product cause my watch battery stills works. But it is good to have the right tools for the watch when and if needed.

This is a good value for the money and does the job. I agree with a review I read that it’s hard to keep it adjusted. The prongs that fit into the watch back also need to be a little bit thicker. They are loose in the notches. However I may use it once a year, maybe. So it’s sufficient to my needs.

The wrench is clunky and difficult to maneuver. Granted, I am not a watch repairman, but this thing is hard to master. The devise seems to be much too big to remove the back of a small watch. I can do as well with needle nose pliers. I had to take it apart an reverse the "jaws" so they would fit a small watch back, even then the devise is marginal.

The design makes for a very sloppy adjustment and the adjustment screw has lots of slop to the extent that when tightened to force the points into the watch cover there is so much movement that the points dance around and can't maintain an aligned grip. Maybe it would work on very loose watch backs but it doesn't maintain good contact with my watch back. Get something else.
